Salam brothers and Sisters,
I was wondering what the ruling is on about missed prayers. I haven't been the best at praying five times a day and my parents aren't super religious either. They believe in Allah SWT and we also fast the whole month of Ramadan and pray sometimes. I just recently got into studying Islam and want to become closer to Allah SWT . alhamdulillah I have established the five Daily prayers for a month now and I know that's a little accomplishment but I'm proud of myself. I've also started wearing the hijab and dressing modestly. I'm 18 years old and it's only now that I've started praying the five daily prayers regularly on time. I wanted to know if I'm supposed to make up for all the years of missed prayers or just sincerely repent to Allah SWT. I've made a commitment with myself to not miss a prayer ever again and I hope to stick with it Inshallah. Any advice is appreciated JazakAllah!
