Salam Alaikum, I am not a sister but my best friend recently converted. We live in a central European country and are both around 25 year old. She had/has a hard time coming out but I can see it in her actions she is really serious about it. I myself am atheist but I support her and respect her choice and love her unconditionally.
But lately we are getting in some fights. I've always been very curious and interested in other cultures but everytime I ask her a question about things I don't understand about the islam she gets mad and tells me she doesn't have to justificate her belief to a non believer. By no means am I asking her to justificate but I am by nature just really curious and want to know what her world vision is. I know she is probably still a bit insecure about it because of all the backlash she has received from family/friends/colleagues but I was wondering if you maybe have tips for me how to ask certain things about your belief. If you can please tell me some things I really can't ask and/or say. Is it allowed for a non muslim to go to a mosque? And maybe some things I can do so she doesn't feel so lonely anymore?
