Hi there all,

Just a quick background on me: I don't really believe in anything because my journey through life has indicated that there's way too much to know to ever actually commit to anything except trying to learn more and trying to be a nice person.t

So, the question that I have is: has the nature of divine powers and structure in the (Koran? Q'oran? Quran? I apologize I don't know which is appropriate) changed at all, or perception of them, changed since the book was written?

I ask because I contrast that to Western Christianity where it would seem that the interpretation of God has transformed over the years, seemingly in tune with contemporary cultural movements. If were to ask a young Christian in America right now what they believed God was, they'd probably say that "God is love" or "God is an energy wave going through the cosmos." Other things they might say is that they don't believe that Hell or demons exist, and I'm curious if anything similar has occurred with Islam.

I hope that my question is respectable. May you all have a good evening!
