Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
First of all I'd like to apologize for making lots of posts. These thoughts keep popping up and i can't help but want to share.
subhanAllahi wa alhamdulillahi wa la ilaaha illallahu wa allahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illah billah.
a'udhu billahi minashaytanir rajeem, bismillah ar rahman ar raheem,
I don't remember when it started but this doubt kept popping up in my head for a long time and I've been afraid to share it before now.
The doubt, as i mentioned in the title, was that if the Djinn are capable of shape shifting, they're able to make us see and hear things (meaning mess with our perception). So what if the angel Jibreel that came to the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam was actually a djinn?
Then ok, suppose it was a mix. Sometimes the angel came and other times the djinn.
The second part is easy though because if a djinn did come the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam will have noticed after Allah gave him knowledge. And even if he didn't, if and when the angel came it would have been made known to him and he would've been given a way to make sure. We can imagine many things like that.
The first one was the bigger issue until i came across this:
Apparently, people used to say the same exact thing about Prophet Isa (Jesus) Alayhi Salaam.
In the Gospel of Mark 3:25, Jesus states, "And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." That is in response to the scribes' claim that "by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils."[2]
Also, in the Gospel of Matthew 12:25, KJV:
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto him, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
Edit: I forgot to mention the link is for the same reason. Islam teaches us that Shaytan (Satan) is our enemy. The djinns that are with him are referred to as "demons". So if it was djinns giving the revelation, they wouldn't say anything against themselves because "A house divided against itself shall not stand".
