Most people on this sub have already heard, but for those of you who have not please take a minute to help us pressure The White House into denouncing the oppression of the Muslim population of China.
The White House runs a website called We the People that allows citizens to circulate a petition. If it receives 100,000 then The White House has to make an official statement. This subreddit alone has 62,800 thousand people alone. If we work together and promote this on our social media networks we can easily reach the 100,000 signatures needed.

Yes, that is true. However, he is still required to make a public statement. This means that the oppression of the Uyghurs will be brought to national attention. China is doing its best to keep these human rights violations quite so we need to do anything and everything we can to raise awareness.
We Can't Do Anything This is CHINA!!!
If that is your mindset then you have already chosen to doom these people. The Prophet told us that the Muslim Ummah is supposed to be like a single body when any part is hurt the whole body should feel the pain. If you are a pessimist please don't drag everyone else down with you.
This Won't Do Anything. We Should Just Make Dua.
Making Dua is the weakest action you can take. If you can take action with your hands, then take action with your hands (like signing the petition). If you can denounce it with your mouth, then denounce it with your mouth. If you can't do then you should hate it in your heart. As people living outside of China we can actually make a difference. It is our duty to do everything we can to stand up against these human rights violations.
