If God made us in his image/in the image of Adam, why are some people seeking change or have dysmorphia? I feel genetics gives a better reason for ugly/unfavourable traits than God wanting to test us. Why does religion then refuse to allow us to change these features?

In Judaism and Islam, it is taught that our bodies belong to God, but why would he give such defects in many? Additionally, why is this further exacerbated through religious endorsement of cousin marriages?

Why should people have to suffer to receive a better after life, yet we're taught to improve the lives of others? Isn't this just meant as a means to control people? I'm referring to Mother Teresa's criticism. I take it face value, as it's mainly Hitchens that stated this.

Historians/archaeologists agree that figures like Moses, Noah and Abraham are legendary rather than historical figures due to a lack of solid evidence. Using population models, how can the great flood cause such a rapid repopulation of nearly 8 billion today over the course of a few thousand years? The rate of genetic disorders would be astronomical. This is in addition to animals. Animals native to Australia and New Zealand would have never made it to the ark, and migration patterns have been in the works for tens of thousands of years.

Believers of a faith that did wrong face atonement, but ultimately make it into heaven? Like how every Muslim gets into heaven even if they did haraam. Doesn't this propose the argument good men are made by genetics? Some billionaires that don't believe will end up in hell because he never recognised God, but loved his man? (E.g. Bill Gates saving millions of lives)

If God is so great, why does he need us to worship him? If he gave us that answer, that means he answers to us, then is he still ultimate in superiority?

Genetics is prone to faults, but religion teaches us God's creation isn't. Is God really great if he knew what would happen if man had free will, yet still chose to punish the believers that used theirs for something good.
