Hello, I’m a 21 year old young Muslim girl and I married my boyfriend in a secret nikkah.
It’s not legally binding and we had 4 witnesses: he read the Surah’s himself and I consented.
I want out of this marriage. I agreed to it out of naivety and love. But its toxic. I’m moving to England soon to start lawschool and I had to help him fake everything for lawschool because he insisted on moving with me. Without my help I don’t think he will be capable of doing it and I don’t want to help him anymore.
I know my husband loves me but he accuses me of cheating constantly, is controlling, and gave me one thalak because I went to my best friends house without his “permission.” I told him I would ask next time but he gave me a divorce over the phone regarding this and disappeared for hours claiming his phone died. He refuses to give me a divorce and says I am to stay with him no matter what until he can convince me otherwise.
My husband left a lot of haram in his life for my sake. He used to abuse substances. He got his life straight and into lawschool for me. But I’m unhappy and now miserable in this. He doesn’t make me happy and we fight all the time. The dowry we agreed on was 100 dollars. If I return the dowry than our divorce will be fulfilled. He never gave it to me though. He says I can’t divorce him unless he gives it to me and he will just return it and not accept the money I send him for it anyway, he won’t accept my e-transfer. Currently he’s out of the country and I do not wish to remain in this marriage any longer and he refuses to grant me a divorce. What do I do?

I knew there must be some people here that interested in Qari imitations (copying any famous Qari's style of Quran recitation) right? Then you must recognize Sheikh Saud Shuraim, Imam of the Masjidil Haram.
I really love his recitation, I want to recite like him but he has such a deep and unique voice, it's really hard to imitate his recitations.

Asexuality is a label used by people who seem to not feel sexual attraction towards others, although they can still feel romantic attraction.
Most of them are sex-repulsed, while some are not. I just want for some to know: It is NOT an illness.
I am asking this, because I myself am asexual (although I currently don’t have a belief), but my friend is, too, and they are Muslim.
They asked me about it, because they just recently converted to Islam. They claim to be SEXUALLY ATTRACTED to no one, but romantically attracted to the opposite gender.
Since it seems that lgbt is pretty much a sin and asexuality is part of it, is it haram to not feel sexual attraction towards anyone?
And, no, I‘m not taking any answers like “You just haven’t found the right one!“, I just want a yes or a no with a reasonable explanation.

I will never forget this miracle that happened a few weeks ago when I had exams, I will forever remember it.
When I had a Quran exam that I didn't study for at all, I only had one night to study before I wake up the next morning to go to school. I learned half of the Ayas and tried to learn the rest in the car, but they were much more forgettable as I didn't practice them as well as the other Ayas at home.
I didn't even sleep, and I was so scared of the exam. I just stood in front of the school gate, took a deep breath and said tawakkaltu ala Allah(I put my trust in Allah) and entered.
I was anxious but hopeful that things would go alright. I walked until I found the exam room, where each person was going to be asked by a teacher.
The teacher asked me and I recited to him the Ayas I knew, then stopped after I was done. He was concerned and asked me if I knew the rest of the Ayas, and I told him I only managed to learn half of them. He then asked if I could at least try to say anything I remember, but I told him I don't remember the Ayas.
And this, is where the miracle happened.
He said that he will give me the full mark relentless, but wanted me to promise that I would learn the remaining Ayas at home. I was almost speechless.. I promised that I would learn the rest of the Ayas as soon as possible, and he gave me the grade.
I left the exam room so astonished, it was so surreal. I kept thanking Allah so much, I was almost going to tear up. I made Dua for that teacher and will keep him in my Duaas, he was just so kind..
I immediately finished the remaining Ayas during break that day.
It felt like I was rewarded for my honesty and for putting my trust in Allah. It felt like Allah answered me with this amazing miracle, Subhan'Allah. And I felt so ashamed, because I'm not that close to my religion despite this. I struggle with prayer and barely read the Quran, yet Allah helped me when I reached out and relied on him.
When I told my Grandma about the incident she said "See how Allah saved you?". She was so proud of me for having trust in Allah wherever I go. :)
Just wanted to share this memorable incident with you all, to show you how important it is to put your trust in Allah, and to believe that he is the best of planners and carries the best of the unknown for you. Nothing in this world happens without Allah's will or knowledge.
Make sure to always do tawakkul in your daily life, and most importantly, you should mean it from deep within your heart and truly believe in Allah.
