It’s supposed to have a “glowing matte finish,” which I’d say is more like a modern matte finish–not fully matte, not super glossy or overtly shimmery. The pigmentation ranged from semi-opaque to opaque, were comfortable to apply, and usually sat well on my lips for five to six hours.
